AAAS Science and Human Rights Coalition
January 11, 2011
The fifth meeting of the Coalition was held Tuesday, January 11, 2011 (9:00am-6:30pm), with an opening plenary on "Science, Human Rights and Haiti's Recovery". The meeting continued with presentations, workshops, and working meetings on human rights issues central to the mission of the Coalition, including: "Human Rights and Human Subjects: Protection Mechanisms," "She Speaks Science, He Speaks Human Rights: Bridging the Divide," and "Getting the Word Out: Designing a Human Rights Track for Your Annual Meeting."
