International Convention Relating to Intervention on the High Seas in Cases of Oil Pollution Casualties

Description:The objectives of the COnvention are to "enable countries to take action on the high seas in cases of a maritime casualty resulting in danger of oil pollution of sea and coastlines" and to "establish that such action would not affect the principle of freedom of the high seas."
