Description:The North American Agreement on Environmental Cooperation was developed to support the environmental provisions of the NAFTA by establishing even trading opportunities and promoting environmental cooperation. The objectives of the Agreement are to promote sustainable development, encourage pollution prevention policies and practices and enhancing compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
