Sources offering an easy route to the latest information on development and environmental issues. Eldis is funded by the Danish Agency for Development Assistance (Danida) and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and hosted by the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), Sussex. ELDIS provides an ever increasing number of descriptions and links to a variety of information sources, including online documents, organisation's WWW sites, databases, library catalogues, bibliographies, and email discussion lists, research project information, map and newspaper collections. Where there is no Internet link available, other information on the availability of databases, CDRoms, etc. is given.
