![]() The Effect of Travel Restrictions on Scientific Collaboration Between American and Cuban Scientists |
|
Acknowledgments The AAAS Science and Human Rights Program would like to thank the Cuban Academy of Science for facilitating our mission to Cuba by organizing the agenda and accompanying mission delegates on interviews. Academy representatives made every effort to arrange requested meetings and responded in an open, cordial, and cooperative manner. Academy staff expressed a desire to increase collaboration with American scientists and lamented the effect that political developments have had on scientists in both countries. We also would like to thank the Ford Foundation for its generous contribution to the Program’s human rights documentation work that made this mission possible.
