AAAS Council Resolution

In 1975, the AAAS Council adopted a resolution recognizing the importance of the traditional knowledge of Native Americans and encouraging the development of programs in which traditional Native American approaches and contributions to science, engineering, and medicine are the subject of serious study and research.
